Skills

I see life through the lens of a kaleidoscope and can effortlessly work through, among, and between fractal complexities in order to understand the patterns and algorithms that prove strengths and pathologies. I have a keen eye for detail and am diligent when it comes to processes and outcomes, both short-term and long-term. I don't just believe in the "gray area" I lean into and embrace all colors in the spectrum among the grays, blacks, and whites.

Goals

I would like to continue exercising the practice of neuropsychotherapy at the group, family, and community levels to help the whole part heal. I want to continue teaching at the University level and also pursue and attain a Doctorate degree somewhere in the studies of neuroscience, psychiatry, and psychedelics. I would love to establish the first medical cannabis mental health clinic in SLC. I would love to continue to travel & speak and teach seminars, at conferences, and for CEUs. I love providing clinical supervision to the student that loves to learn and asks a lot of questions. I am a man of service and wherever the universe needs me, there I am! Hopefully, one day I will write a book and leave behind knowledge and wisdom for others to build upon.

Hobbies

As a native Utah, I love all things outdoors. I especially love the water and mountains. I am always open to a good swim, hike, or camping or fishing trip. Growing up, I loved water-skiing and snow-skiing and later took an interest in wave-running, boating, and snowboarding. If I can't get to the outdoors, I love a good meal at any restaurant I haven't already been to in the valley. I love trying new foods from different cultures and am very fond of the downtown night life in Salt Lake City, where new eats and treats can be found. I am an avid movie-goer and enjoy deeply going to the movie theatre to watch a new sci-fi or action blockbuster. If I'm stuck at home and not working on a beautification project then I'm likely cooking a tasty meal, listening to music, reading or playing karaoke. In the last several years, I have become a tattoo enthusiast and love attending the annual tattoo convention. I have over 15 tattoos that I'm very proud of and wear my art to start heart-to-heart conversations and to tell a little bit of my story to others. I also want to show the world that you can't judge a book by its cover and help young people with tattoos and from different cultures realize that they too can be successful and hold professional positions without having to look a certain type of way.
